TV5 is manipulating TAM Boxes

It has been reliably learnt that the TAM ratings of Tv5 are manipulated ones. They have caught hold of a few TAM meter houses in each city and are manipulating them for higher viewership nos.

Couple of channels have found this and have complained to TAM offices. TAM has initiated a strong investigation.
Last heard is that they are thinking of initiating action on the TV5 channel. This action could mean demonitoring of this channel for upto 2 years and also taking them to court which could have very serious repurcations including banning of their License by the Ministry and or legal prosecution.

Therefore the ratings of this channel are to viewed under the light of tampered reading putting a very serious doubt over their actual ratings. Wonder if anybody other than the TAM households are actually watching TV5 channel.

The Playboy of A P Media , Venkat Rami Reddy of Deccan Chronicle beleives in the adage

He advised all his staff not to spend money on fireworks for diwali but instead give the money for flood relief purpose. He of course is exempt and above this principle. He went ahead and spent Rs. 20 lacs on bursting crackers.

Another example is : not so long ago when PR president's daughter was getting married without her parents, he instructed his cameraman and reporter to jump the wall and get the photos and video of the wedding. When it came to him of course the media is supposed to maintain silence about his personal life. On Diwai evening he got injured while bursting crackers and the same was reported in a telugu news channel. He blew into fits when he saw this and started to shout at the channel people that they should not cover perosnal life.

Very true especially if you have many skeletons in your cupboard.

Moral of the story is : Don't Drink Before Lighting Fire Crackers.
